"Excellent. Great pool that was completely quiet the whole stay, excellent buffet breakfast and an easy walk to beach, buses or short taxi ride to most things if preferred. Only niggles were no full length mirror and barely enough shampoo and soap for one person let alone two. Note there is nowhere to get food in immediate vicinity except hotel restaurant (overpriced as with all hotel restaurants) or across the street at airport for very limited costly crisps and chocolate bars. "I love the Q1 but they didn’t give me the Gold VIP rewards so I had to go and ask reception who reluctantly gave me a bottle of sparkling wine and a row of chocolates and $20 off Spa treatments. The room was pricey but was actually one of the worst ones we’ve ever had in the Q1 so we paid for an upgrade which double the cost of our 5 night stay. I’ve never been offered the room upgrade in any of the Gold VIP access rooms I’ve booked except in Bali. Would love it if hotels in Australia honoured...

" The location is perfect - right across from the beach and walking distance to food/shopping/etc. Worth the upgrade to get ocean view - little balcony was great! Staff was super nice as well. Property was clean, modern, very nice!"

"We stayed here for my 30th birthday. Lovely balcony views of the city and water. Everything was walkable, pacific fair was just a 5 minute walk with lots of dining options around. Pool and spa were so nice to relax in. Limited secured parking underground or park on the street. Hotel was very clean and safe, room was air conditioned with a fridge, stove and oven, and had a kettle and toaster. Wifi was free and the tv connects to your phone. Staff were helpful and polite.
