"Due to the power cuts we had to book in to a hotel instead of staying at the in laws. We needed one near the hospital to visit my mother in law. Was only a 30 minute walk to the hospital and was a really nice walk. Hotel was lovely, can’t fault it."

"Great location and friendly staff. Easy to valet. The only small annoyance was that the rooms don't have blackout curtains. Quite a bit of light is always visible because it is right on the square."

"This is a understated, stylish hotel that is very relaxed and friendly. The rooms were a good size with tea and coffee making, iron and ironing board and safe. King sized bed was very comfortable. Very good location but parking is a multi-storey along the street. I’m not that fussy, but I did think breakfast was disappointing … tried all the (limited) options during my stay but most were overlooked or dry. There’s plenty of better options near by which I’ll choose for my next stay there."

"I travel a lot and this is one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, the room spacious. The breakfast was quite good and worth the money. If I had to nitpick I did try to get coffee separate from breakfast and it took three staff members and 20 minutes. The hotel is right by a lot of pubs, food, and other options. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"The room was spacious and very well equipped with lots of storage, a tea tray and an iron. It seemed to have been recently decorated and was spotlessly clean. There were complimentary bottles of water and chocolates. "

"Hotel was lovely - front desk was very welcoming, and the lobby has loads of sofas to wait while meeting up with others. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. Ours looked out towards the sea (though the car park is immediately outside) and must be even nicer on a summer day. My son's room overlooked a small but pretty park.
