"Three adults and two kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The rooms were nice and clean, and the kitchen was equipped with essentials. The cottage served as a nice home base while exploring Co. Clare. Phyllis is an outstanding host. She was there to greet us on arrival, and made sure we were well taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the cottage again."

"We had an unbelievable time staying at Casa Ceoil in Ruan near Ennis, County Clare. This property is absolutely beautiful, especially if you love animals. Everything was incredibly clean with all that you can ask for- a great sitting area, washer/dryer, big kitchen table and comfortable bedrooms. Barbara was so kind and we loved touring the farm. "Myself, my daughter and her two grown sons stayed at Carly’s Cottage for 2 nights as a part of our Ireland experience and feel that it couldn’t have been more impressive for the striking views of the burren, the comfort of the cottage, the close by points of interest, the very friendly locals & the overall beauty. "Stunning views from this beautiful updated home overlooking the fields of green, farms with sheep and cattle, the Burren and the Atlantic. Short drive into Doolin for dinner/lunch…both delicious, Russels and McDermotts Pub..recommended! Heading in to property from Lisdoonvarna on the very narrow…essentially single car road..I thought..oh my what have I done..we are truly isolated here, however once we arrived we were relieved to find that Doolin is only an EASY 4 mile drive away. "The house was very clean except for the carpets. There was a lot of room for our group. The rooms were large and adequately furnished. The kitchen utensils and cookware was a bit sparse. The rent was very reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more and not have to “rent” towels or supply additional toilet paper or buy dish soap. "

"The kitchen was ill-equipped- no cheese grater- and the furniture had strips of veneer hanging off which needed to be glued back on. The beds were hard, and none of the strip lights above the basins worked, making shaving difficult. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was poor. However it was a pleasant enough cottage apart from the niggles."

"The apartment was fabulous! The only negative was the check in/out process. You have to check in at the Western hotel, which means you have to park in the hotel's underground parking which is a disaster and you have to repeat the whole crazy process on check out. Once we got into the apartment it was lovley."
