"It took me a while to find the hotel from the arrival area. Since the plane landed at night, the airport was pretty quiet, and all the stores and Information center were closed. Once I got to the hotel, there was a huge line of people waiting to check in. But other than that, the experience has been great. They gave me a bigger room than the one I reserved. The room is clean and quiet! That could be because of the day I'm staying (Monday night). The price is great on Hotels. com. Other sites...

"Spacious room, Amarican standard, extra quilts and pillows are provided. Shuttle to the airport, small outlet mall across the foot bridge. Convenience store nearby. The best variety of breakfast of the 5 hotels we stayed in Japan. Staff are friendly. The only thing is that the air conditioning is old. Traffic below is loud if to keep the windows open at night. It is a nice hotel to stay, only 30 minutes from Dotonbori."

"The main room was good. Great views and plenty of space to relax. The letdown was the bathroom. It was tiny with very dated fittings and nowhere to put toiletries. It was also at a higher level meaning a really big step down into the main room which was potentially a safety risk."

"We enjoyed the ryokan very much for the authenticity of old Japan. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Wearing the yutaka at the property was such a thrill for us. The staff were so friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Such a contrast from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka central. And the view from the 5th floor! Breathtaking. Very convenient to be shuttled from the train station. Thank you again. "
