The hospitality of the staff in all areas, the open lay out of the property and proximity of dining to the ocean, the clean and beautiful rooms, and the quality and variety of food options at the breakfast buffet. The property is perfectly located at walking distance to shops, restaurants and main markets. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt. A big thank you to Tembo House!!!"

"Location close to many things. Location is off the regular streets. Roof top restaurant was nice and view was great. Some simple wire to keep the crows away would be nice! Room does need TVs but didn’t miss it. Wi-Fi signal needs improvement. Spa treatment was nice but location is an issue with echo and noise. "

"We had a great stay at Pongwe Bay Resort! As soon as we arrived we felt taken care of and comfortable. We got to Zanzibar quite late but when we arrived we were welcomed with cool hand towels, our luggage was carried to our room for us, and our bed had beautiful hibiscus flowers laid on it. It was the perfect relaxing getaway! Prices were really reasonable, AC in the room was strong, and they arranged airport transfers for us which was convenient.
