"What an amazing little site, from the helpnon thenphone before arriving to check in, freindly and helpful. Lodge was so nice and spotless, hot tub was clean, provate amd loveley, has a little shop on site and runs on honesty, very nice touch. "

"Been here 3/4 times, and looking forward to next stay. Food is really good. Service is excellent. Only issue this time was someone clearly had too much to drink in the village and people were shouting in the early hours of the morning. This woke me and i struggled to get back to sleep, but nothing to do with the inn."

"Loved the B&B, owners were friendly, rooms clean and it is such a quaint setting. Stone throw away from train station. Food was lovely. Set in a small village so it’s quiet. It is quite hilly so be aware if you have mobility issues. "

I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable.
