"The property has great views of the lake and is convenient to get to if you have a car. If not you have to take the boat to get to the hotel. The only problem we had during our stay was the limited options of food available as there are no restaurants nearby besides the hotel restaurant."

"We were welcomed with a drink on the beautiful balcony while they brought our bags to the room. The room was spacious and air conditioned, however; the comforter was heavy. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with an incredible view. They even had mimosas! The spa and outdoor tub looked nice but we did not use. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Loved the stay with excellent views of the mountains, spa as well as a great breakfast spread and vegetarian options for dinner. Wish we had the option of using the microwave in the deluxe suite we were in, but otherwise the experience was fantastic. They also offer free pick up and drop from Grindelwald train stations. Will definitely stay here if I visit Grindelwald again. "

"This is is a beautiful hotel right at the foot of a mountain with amazing views. The room was very clean . The only negative was they even though I paid for a 4 occupancy room they charge me $261 for “an extra guest” "

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Dakota. The hotel is a very short and easy walk from the train station, so it was easy to get around. There are many nice walking trails in the city, and the train ride to Lake Brienz is very short and convenient. The area is in a beautiful valley with gorgeous waterfalls nearby, including Reichenbach falls. There are also many nice shops nearby as well as a crafting/farmers market in the mornings.
