"We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. "

Be sure to make certain the road access from Airlo is open! Google maps will take you up to a snow closed road in the winter. Turning around on this narrow road at night is sketchy. I did get a what’s app message, but it was too late as I already drive up the wrong way. I do appreciate the effort to let me know. ...
