"The staff were very helpful and the rooms very clean. They seemed to have been recently renovated. The hotel was situated close to the centre of town. However, the area around the hotel seemed dirty and there were many vacant shops etc. "

"Friendly and accommodating staff, without exception. Large rooms, enough for our four bags. Left my credit card at reception and they quickly called me and got it to our friends for delivery to us. All very helpful. Highly recommend this WWII era yet updated hotel. And great location!"

"The air conditioning didn’t seem to cool the room and we were quite hot which is why I can’t give it 5 stars. Didn’t sleep very well because of warmth in room. Every other aspect was great, location, staff, cleanliness. "
