"Front desk staff lady that handled my check in was beyond friendly, efficient and profesional. Restaurant has great options. Bar is open until 11 pm. Outside garden area with tables is a major plus and smoking allowed. Hotel is clean and very comfortable lobby/lounge. Hoppa bus runs every 15 min 24/7 which makes the short transport to Gatwick super convenient. "

The room was very dusty and stuffy even with the fan on & window open, and the surroundings noisy due to the location of the room with various deliveries early in the morning. "Overall experience was good. Only let down was having one lift available, as the other was having maintenance done. Room was a little tired. Balcony was a bonus, although a massive crack in the floor could do with filling to smooth over. A walk in shower instead of a bath may have enhanced the overall experience. Big cues at reception on check out day and fairly slow staff stopped this being rated as excellent unfortunately "
