"Drain was partially blocked in shower. Clearly an ongoing issue as there was pre existing water damage to floor and skirting. £10 for a limited gym is very excessive, there is a hotel chain that offers masses top range equipment with pool/sauna facilities at £5. WiFi login a little laborious. Room was very clean and comfortable. Food was nice and restaurant decor/set up is fantastic. Staff was exceptional, impeccably well presented, refreshing to see people taking such pride and professionalism...

Room was clean and beds so.comfortable, was amazed at how much space we had. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with everything you could possibly want. My husband ordered poached eggs and they arrived perfectly cooked. Lovely colouring set and VIK token for the children where they could chose a small present was such a nice touch. "Beautiful lobby, but really old dated rooms which let it down. Breakfast was really good. The room itself didn’t match the high standards everywhere else. The toilet was in a separate room to the main bathroom, with no sink. The textured wallpaper in the room resembles the exterior walls of a 1980s house. Modernisation is definitely required. Couldn’t fault the location. Perfect for both the train station and the city centre "

"The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the city centre. It is modern well appointed. My room had everything l needed and l especially liked the shower in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was good, all the staff were helpful and my poached eggs were cooked to order. I stayed for the England women’s football match and the hotel could not have been nearer the ground. I will definitely book again if l am in Sheffield."
