"A decent place but their security called me at 3 am because I was talking on my cell phone and some neighbor complained. Not only did they call my room but they sent a security guard to knock on my door at the same time. Seems overly aggressive and I was not speaking excessively loud so I’m not sure what their problem is but I’ve never had that happe before"

"We are regular visitors to Amsterdam but it was our first time staying at this hotel. We loved how central the location was. Straight over the road from Central Station. A small issue when we checked in, with our booking transferring over, however the gentalman who checked us in, was very helpful and we received an upgrade to the top floor with a room facing the canal, which was lovely. "Amazing location and very large room, 3 friends staying and there was more than enough room for us all. Modern room with lovely views over the city. About a 15-20 min walk to red light / dam square which is perfect. "

"Fabulous hotel, very clean and lovely interior. Only downside was nothing labelled at breakfast.. as a vegan I didn’t know what I could eat and the staff seemed confused as well, which was disconcerting. There was no hot breakfast for me. Should be promoting a plant based diet if the hotel wants to be considered truly green."

"Personnel attitude and performance was excellent. Very clean and with good options for breakfast. Very good location tonealk around yhe city center. Everyday resupply of coffee capsules and water was very good. I even received a bottle of sampagne for my birthday that was during my staying there. I will stay there again in my next visit to Amsterdam."

"The lobby offers a pleasant welcome. Breakfast was excellent. Bathroom extractor not working so has damaged tiles and walls in bathroom. Room decor very bare and dosnt really tie in with the nice loby downstairs. "

"A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They couldn't do enough for you. Located in the ideal location, on Amstel. It's a 20ish minute walk into the center of Amsterdam (25 minutes to Central Station) and around a 20 minute walk to the Heineken and the Van Gogh Museum. Some lovely restaurants around the area and the hotel backs onto Rembrandtplein, which features clubs and other restaurants. The National Opera and Ballet is on the other side of the water. I stayed in a twin room with canal view and lucked out with the 5th floor overlooking Amstel. The view was stunning. I slept with the curtains open so I could look out overnight. The room was spacious and the bathroom was in good nick. Great facilities in the hotel, including a mini self serve supermarket (including a Starbucks coffee machine) and air hockey and a pool table. I didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurants or explore much further, but overall had a great experience at the hotel."
