"I really appreciate it the spacious rooms and the central location. Unfortunately we found a large piece of glass under the bed which means the cleaning crew did not do a thorough job. If anyone had accidentally stepped on it, it would most likely have ended up in a trip to the hospital to get stitches. I showed it to the staff at the front desk and all I got was an “oh, I am sorry “. "

"The service was exceptional. We had to upgrade our room to a ground floor room due to disabilities so we managed to park right outside the room. The room was exceptional. We ate L'atilier and it was a bit expensive, basic layout but ok. Would definately return."

"Air conditioning was not working. Hotel hastily explained that due to conservation of power sometimes the motor would just not turn on. Then the hotel shd be priced as if it did not have A/C"

"This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "

Without a doubt I will come back. Being able to go to the farmers market on Saturday and buy so many wonderful fresh foods to cook and enjoy in a home setting was nice. We had already been in France for 2 1/2 weeks and as much as I love to eat out I enjoyed having the option to cook. The owner met us at the apartment to go...
