A wonderful restaurant was advertised but only thing that was served was a bad buffet for 25 eu that did not incude drinks. The second night we ate at the pool bar, but had a very limited menu and they closed at 2000hrs. "Very neat old hotel with beautiful grounds. Rooms are dark with few plug ins. No plug ins for hair appliances in the bathroom. "

"This is a great hotel for visiting Óbidos. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. The have a buffet for lunch which was very good. Tip - the hotel signage isn’t obvious so look for the Antonius Restaurant this is a more eye catching sign for the hotel. There is parking in front of the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Such a wonderful hotel. Attention to detail, lovely medieval theme. Excellent breakfast, great pool. But there's a but. I asked to borrow a corkscrew, apparently they only have one in the hotel so the reception would need to open it for me. Fair enough but it was going to cost me 5 euros ! So i used my own means to uncork the Chablis, which was very nice by the way. Unfortunately this might be my lasting memory of beautiful hotel. "
