"The perfect location to relax while visiting many sites in the area. Quinta Mota II was clean, comfortable, quiet, had everything we needed, and the backyard and salt pool was incredible. From this location it is a short drive to the beach and many sites, we visited Obidos, Alcobaca, Batalha, and several beaches. And then returned for swim and a peaceful quiet nights sleep. "the house is nice and is exactly as described on the website but there are things that did not work properly and that should for the price we paid (high season being in August), and that we reported to the owner as well. The most important is the electrical panel that was defective (several of us received slight electric shocks, especially in the kitchen), a single key to open and close the house (being a house for 8 people, the management is complicated), the cooker fire very weak, the shower...

"Accueil chaleureux, charmant jardin et piscine comme sur les photos, mais il s’agit vraiment d’un logement en demi sous-sol, très humide et sommairement aménagé et peu pratique (la salle de bains n’est pas accessible directement, il faut passer par un couloir demi-extérieur avec un sol de béton brut). On sent de très gros efforts et une grande gentillesse de la part des hôtes, mais l’espace n’est pas très agréable et on entend le moindre mouvement des occupants du logement situé au-dessus....

"This is a stunning property with the most amazing views. My only reservation is that it has no air conditioning nor bug screens on the patio doors. The villa is surrounded by countryside greenery and therefore there are quite a lot of flies as a result. We found that if we left the doors open to try to stay cool, we were giving them a free invitation. To make the property just perfect in every way, either air con or screens would do the trick as it’s a beautiful spot."

"The place itself is nice and has a certain charm. Didn’t love the location/area though and lack of programming. Every little thing was extra (like towel rentals, no class yoga only private lessons) which wasnt a big deal but still different from what we are used to.
