"The location of the apartment is superb and David the host could not have been more helpful with all our questions. You are walking distance from the beach and a row of bars and restaurants. The apartment feels like a home - it's stocked with all sorts of useful beach stuff (wind shield, boogie board, sand toys, umbrella etc...). The kitchen has everything you need too. The apartment is more than spacious for a family of 4. Decent bedroom sizes, nice big bathroom. If I were to be picky, I'd recommend a couple of upgrades:- 1. Better bedding. The rooms can get hot, so lightweight cotton mattress covers would be good. You don't want anything synthetic 2. Second bedroom would benefit from two twin beds that can either be separated or pushed togehter. My kids were ok sharing, but they won't be as they get older! 3. Shower works fine, but the cubicle was starting to look a little tired"

"Was an adequate place to stay. Was clean and views breathtaking for sure. Loved the master shower but didn't like it "in" the master bedroom (very awkward); no privacy at all. Would have loved more than three basic bath towels and at least one dish towel. Thank you "

"The property was even better than expected, very spacious and well appointed kitchen, and the views spectacular! The short but steep walk down to the beach was excellent challenge to the fitness of the older members of the party. The heated pool was brilliant and compensated for the cooler misty air - this improved by mid afternoon and we enjoyed a couple of splendid sunsets. "

"The apartment was perfect. 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Nice pool, beach towels and sun loungers also supplied. Basic supplies in cupboard and fridge to help. Plenty of crockery, glasses, great pots and pans and sharp knives. Unfortunately both corkscrews were broken but bottle opener worked for beers. Walking distance to beach and shops with a good choice of bars, restaurants and cafes. Off road parking for car also useful. Would definitely return. Victor was also very quick and helpful in his replies."

"The biggest positives were walkability within the town of Foz and access to neighboring attractions. The host (Jennie) was communicative and neighbor manager Teresa was very friendly. However, layout of the home didn’t quite work for us. The kitchen is isolated at the very back downstairs corner of the villa and it is quite small, and unfortunately made even smaller by the fact that the only indoor table is located along the wall in the room. It can be useable for a family of four if you pop it open more, but then there really isn’t a lot of room to maneuver around in the kitchen (though that table was the best place to actually prep food since counter space is also limited). Basically if you are trying to cook and eat most meals at home, which was our original plan, this kitchen / dining set up is not great. Secondly, we found the beds to be uncomfortable and we slept pretty poorly during our stay. Some of that was just the beds being hard, but a lot of it was the lack of airflow in the house at night. We did leave open the doors on the upstairs patios but even with them open (and cool and breezy days/nights) it was really stuffy. There aren't any fans or A/C in the house, and the beds all have full down comforters on them (though we ended up using the small decorative blankets and even just our beach towels instead - otherwise you would wake up drenched in sweat). Overall the stay was fine but just wanted to call out a few things that didn't quite work for our family."
