"Hotel Berna is a nice, comfortable hotel and an easy walk from the Milan train station. The hotel staff was very helpful. The breakfasts were incredible and they had a fun happy hour. The neighborhood had many good restaurants nearby which was nice after a day of sightseeing the city. "

What you can't see is that the elevators at the train station don't work, so you have to lug your luggage up and down stairs and past a partially demolished old hotel/apartment building. "The hotel is in a perfect location. Right across the street from the train station and metro station. It is a nice hotel, but beginning to show wear. Our shower knob to turn on the hand wand was broken, as was our window latch. You had to call down to the front desk in order to have the air conditioner turned on and even when we did, the room felt no cooler. The bathroom and shower were very spacious but also very dark.
