They moved us from the 5th floor to the 1st floor, and they had to provide us with a fan, which still wasn't enough. What I disliked most was that this hotel policy wasn't communicated to us when we made our reservation."

"Nice hotel 2 blocks away from center of town, but far enough to be in peaceful & quiet neighborhood. Clean room. Helpful staff. Quiet neighborhood with unassuming restaurants nearby which are actually delicious (check out the portuguese restaurant!). Pool is a plus. It is close to Interlaken West station & a 20 minute walk from Interlaken East station. Recommend this hotel. "

"Even under construction to modernize a section, the room we got was plenty of space for 2 people. Clean and everything in the bathroom working well. Very good beds and very friendly and helpful staff. I truly recommend the Sternen Hotel. "

"Nice location just outside of the busy part of town. Very convenient to the train station, but not noisy. The hotel is like a museum inside and there are lots of interesting things to look at. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was great and really good. Public transportation was across the street and very close to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the city and the Bern Expo. The staff were all friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend this place. Definitely when we are visiting Bern we will stay here again.
