"I spent Christmas at Hotel Brienz. Breakfast was extensive and very organised and had a nice Christmassy feel as music was playing in the breakfast room. My bedroom was a superior double room on the corner of the hotel. One window looked out on the mountains and the balcony looked out on Lake Brienz. So beautiful. I was also very happy that the TV in my room had English channels on like ITV and BBC so I could watch the Gavin and Stacey finale 😁"

"Super quiet area. The staff was nice and the rooms were quite nice. We booked two different bedrooms and one of them was smaller but it was still comfortable. Breakfast was a plus (saved us time/money). It is a 5 min walk from interlaken west and 15 min walk to interlaken ost. "

Hard to find, as it sits remotely in the backyard of the reception office. Not well marked or lit. Really a budget option. Could be so much more with better directions and a bit of love. No food availability in town after 8pm in winter. We had to walk the mile and catch the train to Interlaken. Walk to train in approximately 10-12...

It takes approximately 10 minutes to and from the bahnhof in Spiez. The selection of music channels on the tv is great."

Far enough out to be peaceful with lovely views but handy enough as just a short bus or train ride from Interlaken centre. This hotel is just a couple of mins walk from the station and bus stop.
