"Family room is spacious. Have chairs for all 4 of us. Beds are nice. Only con: both drains in the bath tub and the wash basin are kind of plugged up. Water drains very slowly. Suggestions: a small fridge and microwave in the family room would be nice. Due to the time differences between North American & here, we get hungry at late nights. A hot snack would be so great!"

"The only things I will mention are these; The first night I stayed in a room that faced the same direction of the entrance and a very noisy street, many vehicles passing and revelers. The next day the staff were very helpful to relocate me to a quite room. The only other remark is the pillows are hard and too thick for a skinny soft pillow guy like me. Sorry one more comment, I know alot of effort has been put into details but the rooms are somewhat over priced, I will consider other options...

"A little farther out of Galway than I realized when booking. There was some kind of teenagers party going on that evening. When my husband and I stopped by the bar for a nightcap, the staff ignored us for a good 15 minutes. When we went up to bed we were awoken numerous times by teens running up and down the halls banging and screaming at the doors. "

"We had an amazing weekend with our 4-year old. I've stayed in hotels numerous times (for work and leisure) and Raheen Woods is definitely the cleanest and friendliest I've been to in the island of Ireland. All staff incredibly helpful and attentive. The McHale's is the best hotel pub/restaurant I've been to. Breakfast was also excellent. I loved the beautiful décor of the whole hotel and it completely corresponded to the superb experience it offered us. Congratulations! We'll certainly return."
