When we arrived there was several sets of bedding’s and sheets drying in our room over chairs and a clothes airier, must have been left by housekeeping but not in issue we just folded and set aside. Only downfall was that the shower head didn’t stay up. We ate and drank in the pub also, food was absolutely gorgeous both evening meal and breakfast. "

"We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away. This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes. The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream) Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed. "We needed somewhere to stay after finishing some medical treatment and Augill Castle was perfect for us. The service was personal and thoughtful and the food was delicious. The weather was good too, which helped, but is probably less predictable!"

"Amazing location. Clean and comfy room. Fridge on landing where we could keep fresh dog food and milk, they can be noisy in the room so great idea. Needs to update to a decent coffee machine if the sign outside says ‘coffee house’. Only filter served and not very nice. Some really lovely, friendly staff. Would definitely come back. 9/10"
