"Hotel pleasant, room clean, comfortable and lovely and warm. We had a great view from our window. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. Staff very friendly, warm and welcoming. Had a 2 night break, first night great but the second night there was a dog in the room next door which barked a lot. weather not so good but walking in the rain is still fun. Would recommend this hotel"

"We had a fabulous stay in the Ancient Unicorn. We were a family of 4 and also had our dog with us. We stayed in the Charles Dickens Cottage and it was outstanding. When we arrived, the cottage was warm and welcoming. The kitchen was well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were super friendly. The location is great for exploring the area. We look forward to coming back in the future."

"Stayed in the Eskeleth room - eccentric decor that feels luxurious. Nice views of the dales in a commanding position by the green in Reeth. Breakfast very good with lots of choice. Also had an evening meal which was very good as well. Staff very helpful and attentive. Parking on site. Would recommend for a short stay in the Dales."

"This hotel was easy to find. When we arrived the staff were amazing and helpful. We had one problem with the room because it didn’t have enough beds, however the hotel manager was so helpful and sorted it out straight away. The food was nice and most importantly the beer was amazing!"
