Lovely stay, room was clean and warm, bed was really comfy. We were doing the 3 peaks the and they happily made us a breakfast tray for the morning as we were up early to get going. Staff very friendly and breakfast the last day was delicious with lots of variety. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

We booked a room as a night away after a visit to Malham Cove. We were really appreciative of the fantastic staff that couldn’t be more helpful and attentive. The room itself was gorgeous, the bathroom was fine but lacked the finish of the room. Brilliant bed, super quiet and breakfast was stunning. Plus, Patch the dog was very friendly and kept us company while we had dinner. ☺️

First impressions as I approached the hotel was that it looked in keeping with the area, with the weathered stone walls giving an almost historic look. Mixed review. The food was lovely evening meal and breakfast. Ideally placed for Malham Cove. The time for breakfast was 8am-9am which is very early for a weekend especially a Sunday. I dont think the room was worth £130. There was damp under the window and the window frame was a mess. The bar music is audible from the rooms We were exhausted from walking so slept through it. The staff were friendly but the state of the room would mean we wouldn’t stay again unfortunately.

The building is beautiful and very inviting, but our room was dated and very small. It was cold. The mattress was old and not very comfortable. In the morning the dining room was uncomfortably cold, the coffee had been sitting in the pot for too long and tasted burnt. I was given a teapot of hot water to add to a tea bag which is not how to make a pot of tea. It’s a great place to explore the area but needs a revamp.

Unfortunately the fire alarm battery decided to go faulty at 1:30am so I had to listen to non stop bleeping all night - not restful. I have asked for a partial refund but heard nothing since - the manager was a way when I checked out.
