"The house had plenty of room for our group to spread out. No worries about waiting on bathrooms and lots of seating in the living room and at the dining table for playing board games. Most of all the kitchen had everything we needed for making our own meals even though it only took us 10 minutes to walk to the village for shopping. I would say the walk back up the hill was more exercise than i had planned."

"The property is as described and pictured. It has all the amenities for any length of stay. I enjoyed the hot tub on cool mornings and evenings. Wonderful view of the night sky. It is back 3 miles of dirt road with some soft sand at the last turn. Close enough to shopping and restaurants, and of course Joshua Tree, but you definitely have your own private piece of land during your stay. Clean, private, comfortable, and did I mention the hot tub?!? :)"

"The house was very charming and spacious. They were great hosts as that stocked the bathroom essentials. We forgot to bring shampoo but were able to shower due to the bathrooms being stocked. The bed that we slept on was uncomfortable and gave me back problems, but I think that my back is used to my bed."

"Hunter's Retreat is such a comfortable, clean, and lovely home to get away to. Everything that we needed was provided for us and my family had a great time walking down memory lane watching a few of the home's classic movies that are available to watch. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with every serving/cooking/kitchen item one might need. "This is property is excellent condition except two things: - We wish they have food wrap and foil wrap - Air-conditioning of the room on the second floor does not work, so it is quite hot up there The rest is no complaints. We all love this property."
