"What a brilliant place! Fantastic room with additional sleeping area for our teen. Great to have cooking facilities and a dishwasher plus a dining table. Super long couch. Lovely view over a park. We will definitely stay again if we are in Southampton or in one of their other properties in the UK. Good value for money. "

"Very comfortably beds, perfect location for our needs, quiet, friendly helpful staff. We requested a twin but were given a double but it was very quickly and easily sorted. Lovely country pub serving delicious food too. Handy having the Lidl across the road too. Only negative is the room was very very warm even with heat completely off and the corridor carpet was very stained and smelt. "

"We went in the bar for pre dinner drinks and tried to pay on the room and were informed this is not possible which was a shame and not usual for this type of hotel. Time for dinner was prebooked and we arrived and we’re shown to our table. Food was lovely but whole meal was spoilt at the end when my husband ordered a liquer coffee. After chasing 3 times and 45 mins we were informed they couldn’t do it. Shame and a waste of our time and also a shame again that bill could not go on the room. We...

"Stayed for two nights last week and everything was great: clean room, well-appointed with fridge, hair dryer, etc., easy parking, close to everything. The best thing is the young staff who made us feel very welcome. Compliments to the bartender, Minty and Nick the manager, who was very well informed about the local attractions and who helped us plan a plan a route to see the interesting churches, ruins, palaces, and pubs nearby. I will recommend a stay here to all friends visiting Winchester."
