"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, although it wasn't within walking distance to the town center. Fortunately, a convenient bus stop was located right outside, offering easy access to the center. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and our room was clean. "Room was clean and very comfortable; fantastic view from the bedroom. No drawers to put clothes but not really an issue. The buffet breakfast was superb - I'm Coeliac but did not go hungry. Neither did my husband who has a normal diet. All the staff were polite and helpful. The only downside was the lunch/dinner offering - very limited and nothing gluten free. Most nights we were in central Amsterdam but as we had an early flight home (for which we were provided a breakfast box), we wanted to...

"Small rooms but spotlessly clean. Bed was really comfortable with really nice linen. The hotel had lots of different areas and the bar and restaurant were great. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. "

"heb afgesproken met vrienden voor eten en drinken in Alkmaar en woon zelf ver weg. Dus 1 nacht verbleven. Dat is prima gegaan. Leuk is dat je nog duidelijk sporen ziet van de vorige bestemming van het gebouw. (Gevangenis) Alkmaar is trouwens ook wel een mooie stad om te bezoeken met traditionele panden en grachtjes."
