"This hotel blew us all away! My sisters and I go away together when we can, and decided upon Krakow for this trip. We chose the hotel because of the location and price. Both were excellent when we booked, and we were very happy. When we arrived, we realised how lucky we were! The location could not be better - every time we walked outside we were wowed by being on the beautiful main square - literally outside the front door. "We only stayed here one night as our flight was cancelled. We arrived at the hotel at 9.30pm and managed to get a meal which was good. The staff were very pleasant and the room was clean although the bathroom was small. We had breakfast the following morning which was adequate."

"Our second stay at the Amber Design. Great location within easy walking distance of Stare Miasto and all of the old town highlights. Excellent, comfortable and clean accommodation in a quiet location with friendly staff. Breakfast offered at the Coffee and Wine bistro is very good value for money! "

"Just spent four nights at this hotel and it was lovely. Rooms very comfortable, with a modern bathroom and plenty of storage. Bar area very nice, happy hour is definitely worthwhile. It’s a 15 minute walk to the main square, one straight road. Very conveniently located for the Jewish Quarter too. Didn’t eat in the hotel so unable to comment. There is a supermarket opposite and Kraków Grzegórzki train station at the end of the road, with trains direct to the airport. I would definitely stay here...

"The hotel was very close to the train line/station for the airport and also just round the corner from the tram stop. The desk team were extremely helpful, assisting us to buy tickets to attractions and giving options for transport. It was a good 20 min walk to the centre but we enjoyed the walk. "

"Hotel centrally located in the heart of Krakow old town. In walking distance of lots of attractions with tram/bus available for anything further afield. Hotel facilities great and fantastic breakfast also included in the price. All staff friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend. "

"Stayed here previously. Staff are so friendly and helpful, speak good English. I love the breakfast, lots of choice and options. Not too far from the town centre and very close to the bus, train station and main shopping centre. A very reasonably priced, traditional Polish hotel ❤️"

"Excellent stay. Many prefer to stay in Old Town but we found this hotel's location to be even better: being right outside (across the boulevard and a small park) from Old Town, it's about a 5-minute walk from both the main train station and the old town which worked great for us. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the staff were helpful, and the breakfast options were a lot. Only drawback is that you can't call an Uber to the hotel but to a nearby pickup spot (taxis do come to the hotel though) and that there's a pedestrian underpass to cross the street to the train station. Generally not an issue but can be if you have mobility issues and need to minimize walking or elevator to the underpass is down. "
