"Beautiful Ryokan with very friendly and helpful service. We had a room with both tatami and western beds (raised off the ground) which worked very well for the elders in our group that weren't used to sleeping on the ground. No shower/bath in the room as the expectation is to use the public baths (or private family baths which are first come first serve basis). "I liked that the location is away from the busy are, yet close enough. Good English support. We went up the hill and explored, which I would recomment if you want to get away from the crowd. Just a few good quality shops and art galleries, and restaurants up the hill."

"Enjoyed our 2-night stay. Hospitality was excellent - all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was first class, private outdoor onsens were wonderful. We also had good fun playing ping pong in the game room, and the massage chairs were an added bonus. Great location too. We appreciate all the attention to details that made our stay memorable. Thank you to all the hard working staff!"

"A wonderful experience to stay in this boutique ryokan. Imaishi San helped us on checking in, and introduced the all facilities. He also served us the Yufu Kabosu drink during the night cafe hours. The breakfast was really delicious and delightful."

"Great location and helpful staff. The staff took care of everything for us including assuring our in room hot tub was working perfectly. We bought the three onsen pass and enjoyed going to three other location. We also went to Onsen Yumerindo which has a great outdoor onsen. Wonderful relaxing two nights."

Room 116 smelled like mold

"Room 116 had a moldy smell. Water stains were visible on wall. I asked to change rooms and they allowed a change to the second floor. I don't think they should be utilizing that room at all with that strong smell of mold. The second room had no such smell."
