"Old beatiful hotel in urgent need of a rescue. Hotel tried to down grade the 2nd room i paid for. From a Delux Double room to a Studio.Lucky i saw the attempt when booking in? Disapointing a Hotel would do this and when the client sees it,blames the computer. Aircon in Room 227 did not work and was given a 2 bar heater that only made the slightest difference since the temperature dropped below 10 degrees celsius and there's snow on the mountains. "Upon arrival we realized this is not a farm but a little small holding. All units less than 15 feet from each other. A Large Barn is also right opposite the cottages where workers are staying. "Beware - The lodge is not serving its inclusive breakfast and doesn't compensate for its absence. The housekeeper was charming and efficient but the manager was elusive and hasn't responded to communications. We had just stayed at a guest house a few km to the north where we had a lovely daily breakfasts so unclear why DWWL couldn't provide what we had paid for. A voucher, or some Rand, to use at a local cafe would have been sufficient. "
