"We stayed at Boschendal as the first part of a 2-week South Africa honeymoon and we could not have imagined a better place to spend the first few days of our marriage! Our cottage was stunning, comfortable, quiet and luxurious. The breakfast provided was incredible. The service is some of the best we've experienced ever. The property is exquisite. The activities are plenty - hiking, horseback riding, wine tasting, picnicking, etc. This is one of the most special properties I've ever stayed at on vacation and glowingly recommend it to everyone!!"

"We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon and it was lovely. Unfortunately we were hit with horrible food poisoning on the day we checked in (through no fault of the guesthouse!!) and had to cancel plans and stayed in our room most of the day. But the silver lining was that the room was very comfortable and helped us get through the worst of the food poisoning!! I highly recommend a 13 hour fever-induced sleep here. The amenities were great - the breakfast was delicious, one of the best we had on our whole trip. It's very conveniently located to the center of Franschhoek town. We (somewhat naively) walked back from the wine tram, though I wouldn't recommend this - we encountered some questionable characters and were harassed a bit. Taxis/ubers here are very cheap, would recommend that instead! Loved the guesthouse and would go back if given the chance!"

"Short & easy walk to Franschhoek where you can find restaurants & shopping. This little gem is a clean and well cared for property, the pool was great for cooling off after a hot day. The managers were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfasts were delicious, large selection of foods and hot breakfast items. "

"This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again."
