We had a fantastic stay for our honeymoon and the properties private yet central location in Franschhoek was ideal for walking to restaurants, wine tram etc. Our room was clean comfortable and very nicely designed. Highly recommend and hope to revisit!"

We had asked if we could bring breakfast back to the room for another guest who wanted to sleep in a little bit and they said we couldnt because they were concerned that the food would sustain the sheets. Very strange response to be honest. Especially since they have a dining table and chairs in the room. Also there wasn't much variety for breakfast or many options for dinner "

"Palmiet Valley Estate is set in beautiful grounds. The food was excellent. I stayed in room No. 1, which was disappointing. I felt that the 5 star classification was a misrepresentation. The hotel is advertised to include air conditioning. Internet access, wifi, bar fridge. My room had none of these, it also had no TV. Wifi was available in the dining area and my room had a small fan Im lieue of air conditioning. The room has no windows and although the door had glass partitions, I had to either...
