"Front desk staff were fantastic- welcoming and helpful providing early access to the room. The hotel is less than 10 years old, the room was very clean, comfortable and offered great amenities.. The bed, linens and pillows in particular, were very comfortable . The location is fantastic- in a very safe area with access to many restaurants, shops, areas of interest and within easy walking distance of both the Robben Island ferry as well as the cruise terminal. Would definitely stay here again."

"Hotel was very central, the market was right next door, view from room. Bathroom very small, but hotel was good overall. A fridge would have been nice.. Breakfast excellent but DON'T have dinner in the hotel restaurant. Very little choice and what we had was awful. Tasteless and cold. The chef could not have cared less when we complained.The staff were helpful and friendly and parking outside, taken care of."

I wouldn’t mind staying rather here and take Uber around that is about $4 to go anywhere around town and be in nice property than to be at Waterfront that is located close to the restaurants but is very wore down. Loved this hotel"

My less than stellar marks come down to the small things; the bathroom didn’t have a proper showerhead, the kitchen area didn’t have much for actually making a meal, and the TV didn’t work. "Friendly welcome on arrival and departure by all staff The room was small but, and since I only slept there, it was not an issue. Small maintenance issues in the room that should have been addressed lowered the rating to 4 instead of an ideal 4.75. The food in the café was good value, and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again."
