"This is a very old pub so to be expected that floors are somewhat uneven, took a bit of time to get used to this. Room was at front of building,had a large, comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. Sadly our stay was spoilt by other guests on Saturday night making lots of noise till the early hours. Breakfast was excellent with good choices, particularly catering for gluten free diet. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was fabulous to have a microwave and crockery although we didn’t use it. The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was lovely. It would have been nice to have a view from the window but we only stayed one night so it didn’t matter. "

"Very welcoming staff so that was a great first impression. Very well presented accommodation. Great shower. Plenty of beverages and having a sofa too in the evening was a bonus. Enjoyed some good food in the pub along with a very drinkable bottle of red. Great atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. It is only self serve continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt and toast. But price we paid was ok for that. Bad points - road was noisy but ear plugs sorted that out. Also need an eye...

"It was all pretty good. Some areas of the room could have done with maintenance (that's the only think marked as average) but nothing that affected comfort."

"What a brilliant stay at the Frocester. The staff were very helpful, the beer garden ideal on the warm and sunny day that we had, the restaurant was lovely with a great menu and food coked brilliantly. The only minor thing was that the mattress in Room 5 was a little tired, soft and bouncy. Apart from this it was a lovely stay and we would love to return. Thank you!"

"A wonderful pub and restaurant, with very convenient accommodation attached. The staff looked after us well. There was a good selection of food for dinner, and the breakfast was outstanding. There was some noise from passing traffic, but this was not overly distracting. Would definitely stay here again."
