"We really enjoyed our stay at Wateley Hall. The staff were brilliant and very welcoming. The menu sadly did not have a gluten free starter but the chef was very accommodating and made me a special one that was gluten free. The food was very good and piping hot which was lovely. The waiter was very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Many thanks to all the team that made our stay so nice. Well done and we will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. Highly recommended. "

"The room which was 54 very nice but the air con unit even when switched off had water running behind it all through the night. Complained two nights, so no attempt to sort it and couldn’t move me, complained on checkout no reaction not even a sorry So decent hotel but not ROOM 54 "

"Brilliant place. Friendly staff. Cheap and decent beers. Not only a great Carvery but half price pizzas on Tuesdays and other excellent deals on other days. Cheaper to live here than rent my place in Surrey. Thinking of moving in!!"
