"Great basic accommodation. Everything you need is here as regards clean, maintained rooms, breakfast and easy access. It’s unusual that at no point is there any interaction with the staff here although contact is available if required. Check in is done via a computer in the entrance. My room was serviced during the day while I was out and a reasonable food selection is available for breakfast. There is even a free coffee machine. Other drinks are available via an honesty box. "I like Hinterzarten very much. The atmosphere, the quiet, the view, the clean air, the people. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had a great time. The room and the hotel are very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the room is very large and has a balcony, towels are changed every day, and the staff was lovely and great.
