We chose the ZUM SCHIFF twice as a stop on our way to Holland and back to Italy. Excellent stay Excellent dinner and breakfast Fresh meal always just cooked Simple and effective hotel where nothing is missing from what you would like to have

Very nice room, and friendly staff. There was a bus stop right outside to get downtown. A lovely little bakery across the street, as well as a bank with a secure ATM across another street.

The staff is very friendly and professional. The building is a bit outdated, as are some of the rooms. Our room was comfortable but had long sienna brown shag carpet throughout. The back garden has been given over to construction materials as it seems they were at one point updating part of the building (scaffolding remains). The parking was very convenient and there is a bus stop immediately in front that takes you downtown (about 30 minutes away). The breakfast was a good value. Dinner was good but overpriced.

A nice hotel with friendly staff, but desperately
The restaurant is very nice and serves good food at reasonable prices, however it can get very busy. We stayed here for 7 nights, on our first night we asked to be moved as the room was very old fashioned and not very clean, we were moved to a refurbished room, without carpets, which was much better. Many of the rooms and communal areas are badly in need of refurbishment.

Sehr gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Es ist eine Tiefgarage (1,94m Max Höhe) vorhanden. Das Hotel ist keine 4 ****, sondern eher 3, da es in die Jahre gekommen ist. Der Empfang ist freundlich, aber nicht zuvorkommend. Die Kleidung entspricht eher „wir werden ins Wohnzimmer eingeladen“. Das Zimmer passt für eine Übernachtung, aber wenn man wirklich länger bleiben und 4**** haben will, dann sollte man sich ein anderes Hotel suchen.
