"When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con."

"The eco-focus of this adorable hotel shines through. The fantastic dinner was a delightful surprise, with local dishes I hadn't previously experienced. The service was delightful and the location is a perfect jumping-off spot for the Trang islands. The eco-consciousness of this hotel is present without feeling overt - really delightful. "

"We think that the hotel is very nice but there is not a lot to do in this part of town. Room was great and had the best hot shower in Trang . As we stay for a month or two it is priced out by cheaper hotels in better positions."

"The location of this hotel is stunning, with the pool at the very top of the complex. There is a lot of climbing up stairs and slopes to get anywhere, but well worth it and I suppose the clue is in the name of "Cliff" Beach resort. The majority of the other hotels etc are at sea level and further along this east coast, so many have virtually no sun during the day, whilst due to the height of the pool are here, you can get sun well into the afternoon.
