"My wife and I visited friends in Izumoshi and we booked this hotel’s suite room. I believe there is only one of these rooms in the hotel. It has two king size beds, a separate living room area with chairs and a sofa, and a bathroom that has two sinks and an enormous shower and bathtub. Looking at the floor plan, it looks like this room takes the same floor space as three of the hotel’s regular rooms — so while we were very pleased with our room, the regular rooms are probably on the smaller side. We also had dinner at a restaurant about two blocks away called Wasabi. No English, but the food was really good — sashimi, local beef with local peppercorns, house salad with fried Izumo soba noodles, roasted Nodoguro (a local fish), etc."

"This was our second stay at a Toyoko property in Japan. Rooms were super clean, great amenities from laundry machines to baggage storage and just a short walk to the train station. "This was my second stay at the Nono. It sits directly across from a train station for easy access. Taxis are readily available in the parking area between the hotel and station too. The hotel was a great Japanese experience. You remove and store your shoes when you enter. The breakfast was amazing! They serve a complimentary bowl (or more) of ramen noodles each night at 10pm. There are free ice cream treats on the top floor after 3pm. And the onsen (hot tubs, sauna) on the 12th floor is also included in the stay. The hotel is on the beginning of Mizuki Shigeru Road and is beautifully decorated with castings of Mizuki's characters (famous anime artist)."
