The atmosphere of the hotel is pleasant and cosy. "I was due to stay one night but as a result of train cancellations extended for a further two nights. The location of the hotel is great, easy access to the promenade, high street and railway station. It's clear there are improvements underway to the accommodation and communal areas. The room I stayed in was basic, the bathroom dated, but clean. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Overall, excellent value for money."
