"The room was huge! The bed was very comfortable & despite being on a busy road it was quiet. It’s a creaky building though so if you’re a light sleeper noisy floorboards might annoy you. Check in was easy. I did struggle getting all my luggage up 2 flights of stairs though so don’t bring anything heavy! There were dining options within easy walking distance. "Pleasant hotel well sited and a bargain off-season. Decent car park but could do with a couple of electric chargers. Room was too small to accommodate the amount of furniture, and was so warm that even though it was never hotter than 5 degrees we had the patio door open all the time. The spa was very nice and empty due to the time of year. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Evening meal was only ok but you can understand that out of season.
