"Stopping off in Devon for a few days break, we were very pleased with our stay at The Globe. While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. Our room was certainly spacious and very clean and well appointed and everything worked perfectly. "My wife and I stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Rockbeare Manor and it's only 10-15 mins away. So glad we did.. the staff are all lovely, the pub is cosy, the accommodation fab and the food is amazing. Couldn't recommend this place enough, we only wished we'd stayed longer."

"The best thing I can say is that it is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Perfect location, great bar and food, friendly locals and great staff. Room had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable. Also, very quiet! Highly recommended!"
