"Terrific central location, nice bar and restaurant. An old building so floorboards a bit creaky but rooms refurbished to a very high standard. Car park is tiny and usually full but there is a reasonable public car park just across the road, attached to a Morrisons supermarket, and we had no problems parking there."

"Staff are freindly and very attentive, genuinely good small team. Food was beautiful and service was great, all costs were proportionate and well worth the money, which was not expensive at all. Great getaway, peaceful and quiet, great location for walking, has a DIY laundry for when needed, art deco a little outdated but the hotel has changed hands many times lately, its clean and comfortable what more do you need. Will be back"

"This is a very tired hotel in urgent need of a major refurbishment and staffing levels seem inadequate resulting in delays, breakfast can take up to an hour to complete In our 4 night stay our bedding was not changed and our room was dusty and at the top of 7 flights of stairs overlooking a shabby fire escape with a tangled hosepipe left there to trip us up if we needed to escape that way"

"My stay at the lbis hotel was very pleasant. Right away the receptionist was polite and friendly. My room was very clean and everything worked. Parking is limited under the hotel but there is loads of parking around the hotel on surface roads. I found that the breakfast layout didnt flow as well as other hotels but the staff more than made up for and picking i can say. "
