We had two days where there was no breakfast because it was Christmas and they discounted those two nights but also provided some oatmeal tubs for us and extra bits for the morning which we appreciated. Room 5 had a good view over the Church in winter quiet except for brief visit by large noisy Church group ! Building is old so expect that. "What a happy accident. We made a very last minute decision to have a stay on the North Norfolk Coast and picked The Maltings almost by sticking a pin in the list. It turned out we had chosen one of the finest hotels we could have found and the location was perfect. The hotel staff were extremely friendly without being overly intrusive and the hotel itself is really cosy and welcoming. There are lots of areas to sit and rest with a drink. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away and that opens...
