 Der Anfang dieses Jahrtausend gefunden 2,4 m lange Sarkophag wurde mit einer endoskopischen Sonde untersucht. Man fand Stoffrest und menschliche Knochen aus dem ersten oder zweiten Jhd n. Chr. Bei dem Stoff habe er sich um purpurnes Leinen mit Goldauflage und blauen Fetzen gehandelt. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass es sich wirklich um den 67 hingerichtete Märtyrer handelt, ist also sehr hoch.
