"This is our fourth time at the Wyndham Tamarindo. I understand it is under new management, and although the setting is wonderful and the pool and the beach club are great, some of the services have deteriorated. The bus service to town and the beach is now every hour instead of every half hour. Sometimes, there are more people than seats, and individuals have to wait for 20 minutes for the bus to return for a pickup, or people are sitting in the aisles or sitting too many to a seat. "This hotel felt more like a hostel BUT it was still very nice. Private room with bathroom and great AC. Staff was super friendly and helpful when we had questions. Great location - pretty centrally located. You only had ~10 min walk any direction to get to the “end” of the where there were shops, beaches, and dining/bars. Would absolutely stay here again if we revisited Tamarindo!"

"The room was clean but small. The bathroom was extremely small, when you sat on the toilet your knees were touching the wall. Sower also very tight and small. Ants walking everywhere in the room and bathroom. The noise at night was unbearable, loud music blasting until 1:30 am. "

"We had the 2 room poolside apartment, it was very nice and clean. The included breakfast in the morning was amazing, probably the best included breakfast of anywhere I have ever stayed. The hotel is right outside from the supermarket which was awesome and super close to the center of Tamarindo. 10/10, we will be back!"
