"The staff was very nice! There is a 7/11 near the hotel, which is pretty convenient. Room is a bit small, but we have come to expect that in most Japanese hotels. Good place to stay, has nice onsen area."

"Overall a nice experience - we went half board and both breakfast and dinner were good. They have a sister hotel that allows you to have dinner there, or visit the onsen. Both dinner and onsen were better in their sister hotel. Good location to the mountain and easy walking to the cable car for mountain access. Next time, we will stay in the sister hotel "

"Japanese standard room was very spacious, although a bit worn around the edges. The rooftop outdoor onsen had a spectacular view of the snowy mountains at sunset. The food offered in the standard half board option was ok, not great, very cafeteria like. If you're passing thru the area, it's a good option bc of the onsen, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again."

Lovely rooftop onsen plus ground floor onsen. The area around the hotel is a quiet with many ships and restaurants closed but that allowed us to enjoy the hotel facilities."

"Our family stayed over for a night at the hotel to visit Daisetsuzan. Hotel is very close to the cable car in small town of Sounkyo. We were there at off-season so it was quiet. Hotel is bit old but its a nice experience to stay in traditional Japanese accommodation. Rooms and tatami mattress were fine and fits in 4 people (albeit bit tight). "Nice container type accommodation just beside the sea. Facilities are pretty new and good working condition. Full view of the Crab claw from the bedroom. Surrounding is quiet and peaceful. My family enjoyed our stay there."
