"The hotel itself was very inviting & all the staff seemed very happy in their work. We received a friendly welcome on arrival. The room was large well decorated & very clean. We would normally have a kingsize bed, but a double was fine & it was quite comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, We arrived at 9am & no hash browns available and the bacon was so hard it was inedible also no mushrooms, I decided to have beans on toast...however we would probably stay again!"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was better than expected as we thought it would only be cereals but there were hash browns, beans etc. Parking was an additional £10 to be paid at the reception counter."

"The service was excellent through the stay. The rooms are set in converted buildings away from the main building which overlook the common used courtyard. The evening meal was well cooked and large portions with a choice related of burgers, chicken, pizza and chips. The room was well located for Duxford and the Air Show we attended and suited us for an overnight stay."

"Allowed to get room early at no extra charge which was a bonus. Unlike last time I needed to book in early as I wanted to get to the football. She was adamant I needed to pay £20 Even though the room was ready. which was a bit steep. So obviously I didn't take. When I came back in the evening she was very busy and had to keep people waiting in order to sort my room. Lot less hassle if she had just given me my room. "

"Unusual and quirky room.Decorated really well.Above a pub but quiet. Only quibble, no one around when checking out as pub closed at 10 am.No instructions where to leave the keys.Had to leave them in the door lock."
