"What a great find! If you're OK with a drive thru the mountains, this is the place for you. The property is beautiful, the main lodge is old and rustic but so charming. The owners are wonderful. They acquired the lodge less than a year ago and have plans to upgrade/update as they go along so you must look past some of the 'broken' things but it's clean and open and we would absolutely stay there again. "This is a lovely B and B! We have a dog and she placed us in a beautiful separate space that was cozy and had a seating area. The B and B had a huge wrap around porch that we sat on. One of the places we have ever stayed!"

"We stayed for one night with Darlene and Dave at their B&B. The room we had is both spacious and comfortable. The breakfast provided is fantastic, including eggs from their chickens on the property. Darlene and Dave are fantastic hosts, super personable and absolutely made our stay memorable. We’d highly recommend considering your stay with them when in the area. "

"This is a charming B&B / Inn in a beautifully renovated Manor house. he kitchen was fully modernized and complete with all needed cookware, dishes , spices & tools, coffee & tea etc. Hardwood floors, antique tile & bath fittings and wood paneled rooms were wonderfully restored without eliminating their antique charm. "I rarely write a review and if I do I rarely give more than 4 stars. If I could give A Mighty Oak six stars I would! Todd and Lisa have a wonderful place with views of Pilot Mountain. The breakfast is farm to table and is world class. We will return."
