Adorable cottage in a park-like setting located at Do Drop Inn Cabin Rentals adjoining the Blue Ridge Parkway. Two miles from Fancy Gap restaurant and shops. Nearby is Blue Ridge Music Center, Mabry Mill, New River Trail Park, Doughton Park and Mt. Airy N. C. This great little getaway features one bedroom with a full bed and one bathroom w/ shower. Small kitchen a front porch that was built to make you relax with a stream running by that makes for an affordable cozy getaway! Local TV reception in the unit. Cabin features two fans No Air Conditioning .Creek Side is like being in your on nature preserve with pristine landscaping, outdoor grills and walking trail.

Damage Charges: The vacation cabin will be inspected after each tenant’s departure. If damages other than normal ware and tear are found, you will be notified immediately of the costs for resolving them. Our stay at the Creekside cabin was outstanding! The owners were so polite and welcomed us with two slices of a wonderful cake. We would highly recommend staying at any of the cabins they have. The property was very clean and well maintained. The cabin is very small and cozy. No Internet or cell service so it made it even better to spend time together. The owner greeted us and was super nice. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This was a quick get away for my husband and I. I was a little nervous about the no A/C but it was NOT needed and the no Wi-Fi was really nice. Honestly you couldn’t ask for a better unplug and the hosts are beyond wonderful including the added carrot cake! Highly recommend!!!

A small quaint cottage in the mountains. Quiet and on the parkway. Also close to Mount Airy. We met the owners and they are very nice and hospitable. Suzi even brought us some cake!!

Perfect get-away cabin for 2
Our cozy cabin was tucked away in a serene little spot in the woods with easy access to its inviting front porch. Inside everything was so clean and sweetly decorated. Our little cabin for 2 was perfect for our anniversary weekend with an endearing porch swing made for 2 and two Adirondack chairs to sit in the peace & quiet and sip our morning coffee while listening to the trickling stream. Additionally, the surrounding property was beautifully maintained and had picnic space & a fire pit outside as well.

Great Beginning
Only had 2 days to spend on our travel north. Very nice break. No internet or phone signal at the cabin and that made it even more special. Sometimes you just need to to unplug, unwind and relax on the porch!

Creekside comfort
We were looking for a relaxing weekend and that's what we got. While sitting on the porch, a doe walked up, made eye contact and began drinking from the stream and eating moss from the rocks. Priceless!

Fairy Tale
The cabin was perfect for two people. It was clean and comfortable with everything you might need for a weekend in the woods. The hostess was very nice and brought us some delicious carrot cake to welcome us. The grounds were outstanding with a beautiful spring fed creek right next to the cabin. The cabin interior was really cute and we didn't miss aire conditioning at all. Overall the place remided me of a fairy tale cottage in the woods.

My wife and I spent our 1 year anniversary at creekside cabin. The owners very respectful, kind and even brought us a slice of homemade carrot cake. This cabin was tucked away next to a trickling creek providing very mind soothing sounds. Wildlife present on a the walking path around the property. Would definetly recommend this place to anyone looking to be one with nature for a bit and escape reality. Would give more than 5 stars if i could!!

I love camping, my wife does not. So this cabin with the windows open in July was the perfect compromise! The property was well designed, we loved the walking paths and wildlife everywhere. No AC concerned us going in, but the nights were cool enough that we needed extra blankets. Private feel and everything you need. We will be back.

Great cabin getaway
The location of this cabin was perfect. Quiet, spotty cell service, just what we needed to unplug, unwind and relax. The cabin was small and cozy. The only thing was it was a little too crowded with all the furniture. Bed, 2 rocking chairs and bench. The rocking chairs at the end of the bed was a little too much. But overall the best vacation we’ve had in a long time. Thank you.
