"Very convenient location in easy walking distance of the airport terminal and trains. Very friendly reception staff. Hotel room was great: spacious, very well soundproofed, and the bed had an excellent mattress and comfortable pillows. Could do with a few more hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels. Breakfast is served from very early in the morning which makes the hotel a convenient choice for travelers with an early morning flight to catch. The one thing that let this otherwise good hotel down was that the tables in the lounge bar were left unwiped and glasses not collected promptly after previous guests/customers had departed. We couldn’t find a clean table. Left a poor impression in the evening of our arrival. This was our second stay at the Hampton and we can definitely recommend it!"

"Everything was great although the bar was closed by the time I arrived at 11.20. A bit of a shame that, as I would have liked a drink. Also, I have a CPAP machine and it was a bit of a faff to plug in as the plug was under the TV opposite the bed, rather than by the bedside. Overall, though, most impressed, staff were friendly and well-presented and the room was clean and well-maintained. The inclusive breakfast and the double-door that closed either toilet or shower was a nice touch. "

"Nice early check in. Walking a mile to work mainly through the beautiful grounds of what was a massive estate. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The on site restaurant served an excellent selection of food. This hotel has only been open for 3 weeks but I’m sure it’s going to be a massive success! Great location! "

"Charming place with four nice rooms over a pub. Friendly staff and good food in the pub. Note no elevator/lift. No real climate control though had a fan and some other gadget, and the windows do open. Easy one stop on the Stansted Expess then you’re right there. The train in the AM did not stop frequently "
